LC Prognosis Array

Evaluation of Expression of Survival-related genes in Lung Cancer Tissue

Cat. No. SER004

Services

Major Service Items

·         Preparation of tissue samples & experimental procedures are the same as listed in our Cat. No. SER003 (Cancer/Metastasis-Associated Genes).

·         Providing of Risk Score, survival time, and probability during a period of time based on statistical model.

Applications

·         Suitable for evaluation of sample types (specimen): lung tissues

·         Study of expression level of a group of pre-selected, clinically survival/prognosis-relevant genes.

·         Drug screening: evaluation of anti-cancer and/or anti-metastasis activities of your candidate substance after in vitro-treatment.

Background information

·         The LC Prognosis Array has a panel of survival-related gene probes and other control gene probes.  This panel consists of 16 genes selected after the statistical analysis of 125 clinical lung cancer cases (Patent pending).

·         A Risk Score can be easily calculated based on the experimental data (the signal intensity) of individual gene and its regression coefficient after our membrane array-based hybridization analysis.

·         The analyzed lung cancer tissue could then be grouped to a high-risk or low-risk regarding the Risk Score calculated.
